Design choices, mime limits, and export contract
- The undeformed egg is 112 units tall and approximately 84 wide. Its upper quarter tapers; its lower half carries the volume. The contour is one continuous, closed shape.
- The near shoulder sits about 44% down from the top; the far shoulder is slightly higher and farther left. Upper arm: 32 units. Forearm: 31 units. Near limb stroke: 5.8 units. Fingerless hand: approximately 9 × 7 units. The asymmetric attachments and occlusion suggest a roughly 30° turn. An unmarked egg cannot independently advertise its facing direction.
- Arms use two-link inverse kinematics. Shoulder positions follow body deformation. Elbows are solved every frame, and reach is constrained. The far arm is painted first, then the egg, then the near arm.
- Ground contact is measured from the deformed body contour, not assumed from an undeformed bounding box. Leaning therefore rolls the egg onto its lower curve. Lift is explicit; no invisible feet are involved.
- The five travel clips have no accumulating root motion. Walk is a small roll; slow walk has longer, weightier transfers; jog bounds; sneak compresses and pauses; pacing alternates restrained pivots with a thinking hand. Small local weight shifts remain in-frame.
- Prop-specific meanings remain ambiguous without props: comparing slices also reads as weighing two choices; bread bracing can read as cradling; spreading can read as wiping; sitting can read as squatting. Those clips have different blocking and timing, but their exact nouns cannot honestly be recovered from silhouette alone.
-
slice_breadmimes three distinct saw-and-cut phrases.throw_childis a two-handed scoop, swing and empty-handed release.brandish_canemimes an upright grip without drawing a cane. No extra objects or anatomy appear. - Loop and travel sheets sample [0, duration), avoiding a duplicate seam frame. One-shot sheets include both endpoints. JSON records the precise sample times. All cells use the same ground anchor: (128, 212.48). Exports contain neither a background nor a contact shadow.
- A second pass should judge far-arm visibility at thumbnail size, wrist spacing in close-body actions, and which timing accents survive the intended game camera scale. A 24-frame sheet is a compact inspection export, not a recommended final sampling rate for every duration.
